The Communications, Policy & Advocacy team is seeking a 2022 Summer Associate to support building, refining, and executing a communications strategy across The Rockefeller Foundation’s Strategic Initiative Teams.

Please Note:
- This position is open to graduate students only.
- Submission of a cover letter is required.
- The 2022 Summer Program, which is a paid program, will run 10-12 weeks, with exact dates to be determined.
- This position will be based in the New York office, however, the program is planned to remain remote.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Program Influence professionals from each initiative team to develop a cohesive communications strategy across the different program areas.
- The Summer Associate may work on other projects/topics as they arise.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in one of the following areas: communications, public relations, business, public policy, government, international development, or a related discipline.
- Key skills include writing, communications, strategy development, research, social media for social good.
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to research new, potentially unfamiliar topics with limited guidance.
- Collaborative, innovative, eager to learn, and interested in how foundations create and execute strategies working alongside partners.
- Must be a proactive self-starter.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
