We are actively seeking an Executive Director to lead our team with passion, integrity, and a deep commitment to our mission. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic vision to expand our reach and deepen our impact within the community.
Role Summary
The Executive Director will oversee all facets of our operations, including resident care and safety, staff management, marketing, public relations, and fundraising. This position demands a leader adept at fostering relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including youth, staff, the board of directors, volunteers, state partners, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Chief spokesperson, effectively communicating organizational achievements and needs to the public and all stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to licensing standards, the Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard, and organizational policies.
- Implement and translate the Board's policies and directives into effective programs.
- Oversee and report on the childcare program's operations and its alignment with established policies.
- Maintain compliance with local and State DHR reporting requirements.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, overseeing all expenditures.
- Lead monthly outreach meetings to cultivate new supporters and contributors.
- Build and mobilize community relationships to support organizational goals.
- Keep detailed records of all contributors and actively supervise the proposal writing process for funding.
- Secure grants and actively collaborate with other organizations to obtain funding.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in leadership roles
- Master's degree required.
- Proven integrity, honesty, ethical leadership, compassion, and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in leadership roles
- Background in social work is highly advantageous.
- Strong experience in financial management and non-profit sectors preferred.
- Demonstrable experience working with children is desirable.
- Grant writing experience is highly preferred.
