Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recruiting Assistant to join our team. The Recruiting Assistant will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our Recruiting Team and ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Recruiting department.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Recruiting Team.
- Manage the Recruiting inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and Recruiting events, and maintain agendas.
- Assist in identifying potential candidates and performing reference checks.
- Process pre-employment screening activities, including background and reference checks.
- Support onboarding activities, including I9 documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Recruiting Assistant (essential).
- Complete understanding of Recruiting functions and best practices.
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding).
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Solutions-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to engage in phone conversations and internal and external meetings. The incumbent must be able to sit for extended periods and have the ability to move about the office by walking or with adaptive equipment. Fine motor skills are required to operate computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
The incumbent must have the cognitive ability to correctly interpret speech and written materials in English, use simple arithmetic, create, and use keywords to conduct successful web-based searches.

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday. Hours will be agreed upon with the Recruiting Manager. Occasional hours outside of the normal hour workweek may be needed to meet the needs of 24-hour facility.
