Job Summary:

Sanitas Skincare is seeking a team member to fill the role of Manager of E-commerce Strategy and Performance to join our growing team. As the Manager of E-commerce Strategy and Performance, you will lead our e-commerce growth initiatives for Sanitas Skincare’s DTC and B2B segments. This position is uniquely positioned at the intersection of marketing and sales, requiring a versatile leader adept at fostering an online presence while driving substantial revenue generation. This individual is experienced in marketing, public relations, social media, SEO, paid media, email marketing, content strategy, and SMS marketing. The ideal candidate will use his/her deep understanding of analytics to help shape our eCommerce marketing strategies and mobilize resources to achieve the vision. The Manager of E-commerce Strategy and Performance has proven expertise in collaborating with various business functions and third-party agencies to deliver best-in-class tactics and innovation that elevate the customer experience and achieve the company’s revenue goals and growth targets. This position is responsible for customer acquisition, conversion, and retention KPIs. This role is accountable for financial performance and ROI for revenue, profitability, and outcomes that support the company’s expansion goals. The ideal candidate is innovative, forward-thinking, and able to translate strategies into tactics and execute all, U/X and operational initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with the SVP of Products Services, Director of Sales Education, E-commerce Operations Manager, and the creative and marketing team to ensure seamless integration between attracting potential customers and converting them into loyal clients.

  • Develop, execute, and own comprehensive e-commerce marketing and sales strategies to boost brand visibility and drive sales growth for all RMNL Brands/Sanitas Skincare websites
  • Consult with the marketing, B2B sales, and creative teams to plan and develop online business plans, establishing responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives
  • Deliver results for e-commerce by measuring and reporting on all campaigns, promotions, and spending against goals (ROI and KPIs) and budget expectations.
  • Identifies e-commerce market trends and customer insights to create a best-in-class e-commerce U/X for all RMNL websites
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies to unlock revenue and profit opportunities
  • Manages and measures all third-party agency relationships related to digital marketing, email marketing, paid social media, paid media, organic social media, and those assigned
  • Identifies and negotiates with new third-party agencies as directed by the SVP of Products Services
  • Works in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Art Manager to create and execute a strategy to regularly update website creative assets, including photography, videography, and copy
  • Responsible for finding content creators and enlisting them to create on-brand UGC campaigns monthly
  • Oversee the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including content strategy, promotions, SEO, SEM, PPC, SMS, email marketing, and paid and organic social media initiatives to attract and engage a targeted online audience
  • Collaborate with the E-commerce Operations Manager to enhance the online shopping experience, including website design, product listing optimization, checkout efficiency, and customer service excellence
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to achieve sales targets and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Owns customer acquisition and retention strategies and implements initiatives to achieve KPIs
  • Plans, executes and measures experiments for acquisition and conversion to drive revenue
  • Develop tests to improve conversion rate and drive revenue growth and own the site conversion funnel
  • Spearhead cross-functional teams to ensure that e-commerce marketing and sales strategies are integrated and aligned with the overall business objectives of RMNL Brands/Sanitas Skincare
  • Collaborates with production and supply chain teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly hindsight results and progress against sales targets to the leadership team
  • Work closely with the E-commerce Operations Manager to analyze website metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve conversion rate
  • Maintain timely and concise communication with stakeholders
  • Research industry trends in the spa and skincare space, seeking opportunities to bridge gaps in business objectives and push the business forward
  • Leads digital strategy for new product launches
  • Work closely with the VP of Manufacturing, E-commerce Operations Manager, and supply chain teams to establish and manage website forecasting, merchandising, and demand planning
  • Keep abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and digital marketing innovations, implementing best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Supports other business priorities and projects as directed by the SVP of Products Services and the CEO
  • Supports RMNL Brand Values and Company Culture through words and actions every day both inside and outside of the business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Proven track record in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and online sales with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in the skincare, wellness, or beauty sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and e-commerce platforms suitable for a premium skincare brand including Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, and Yotpo
  • Solid understanding of website and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4), SEO/SEM principles, and CRM tools relevant to e-commerce and direct marketing efforts
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to dissect data, feedback, and information to determine ROI, results and make recommendations
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to meet assigned deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task and switch focus quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to think globally and creatively and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and operations teams to achieve common goals
  • Passion for the skincare and wellness industry is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay range: $68,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience
