HR Generalist

A construction company is seeking to hire an HR Generalist. In this seat, you will be assisting the HR Director with all HR functions including the interview process, onboarding, and offboarding. Ideally looking for a candidate who has used Paylocity and/or Salesforce and is advanced in Excel. Additionally, looking for a candidate who has previous experience handling onboarding tasks.

Duties:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Conduct interviews and assist with the selection process to ensure the hiring of qualified candidates
- Administer HR programs and policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and strategies
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems such as Workday or similar platforms
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist with the development and implementation of affirmative action plans
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee data
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Support HR projects as assigned

Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of human resources management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, iCIMS, or similar platforms
- Proficient in leveraging technology to streamline HR processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of performance management processes and techniques
- Understanding of affirmative action planning requirements
