Rogers Group is seeking a GENERAL LABORER for our operation located in Livingston Quarry. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter, and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean-up and operations
- Being trained in various other entry-level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times
- Report equipment problems and identify them to management
- Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines
- Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Ability to maintain safe working conditions
- Self-motivated individuals must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some of which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment, and other duties as assigned
- Ability to learn quickly
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
