Day Shift: approximate shift times of 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wages starting at $28.00/hr. Higher compensation for candidates with significant aggregate and quarry management experience.
Rogers Group is currently seeking a Plant Foreman for the Burns and Hickman Quarries, located in Burns, TN and Bon Aqua, TN. This role assists the Plant Manager in coordinating production activities in the quarry crushing plant. They will assist in the coordinating contractors and supervising craft workers within the pit and plant environment. They are responsible for monitoring work performance, progress and productivity of the operators and miners. This role also monitors and manages costs in order to comply with business objectives. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence, and be able to successfully impart a safety mindset and focus to the production team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate operation of equipment/plant to complete production schedules set by Manager in the most cost-effective manner possible.- May be called upon at discretion of the Superintendent or Manager to perform any other duties assigned and/or to assist other departments if necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required. Some management training or experience preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment used in aggregate production operation – both fixed plant and mobile heavy equipment.
- At least 3 years experience in the aggregate materials industry or similar.
