We are looking for an entrepreneurial, high energy retail sales specialist who is excited about building an emerging brand in a quickly growing category. The ideal candidate knows the ins and outs of non-alc beverage sales in Southern California, has great relationships with local chains and key retailers, and is looking for a fast-paced, high-growth opportunity where they can truly make a difference. This position requires prior work experience in the beverage sales industry.
Job Overview
The Retail Sales Specialist will lead Rogue’s CBD Beverage sales efforts across the Southern California market. This position will be the face of the brand and the critical link between Rogue and our retailer customers. This is a new role designed to support the rapidly growing sales of Rogue’s CBD Beverage portfolio in Southern California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own top retail target accounts within assigned territory
- Responsible for growth within target retail accounts and overall territory trends
- Implements and execute marketing initiatives to support brand visibility and sales growth within accounts
- Execute events and sampling programs with key retailers
- Establish rapport and call frequency with distributor sales representatives and managers
- Identify and build relationships with local chain customers
- Conduct distributor education and sales team presentations
- Work in conjunction with the distributor sales team to uncover opportunities and ensure account standards are being met
- Provide weekly recaps of account calls to ensure proper follow up and execution
- Participate in building market goals, strategies and plans
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of non-alcohol beverage sales experience
- Ability to travel within the territory
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization habits, ability to handle multiple tasks with an attention to detail
- Ability to solve customer problems and take decisive action
- Effective analytical skills
