JR6094450 Logistics Operations Manager Indianapolis, IN As a Logistics Operations Manager your responsibilities will include the management of strategic development and operational performance of physical logistics operations in support of the Indianapolis Campus. As a Logistics Operations Manager you will be responsible for direct and indirect management of Rolls-Royce and Logistics partner staff, operations, and contracts. Key Accountabilities: Manage logistics aftermarket performance of multiple third-party logistics companies around the world to contractual obligations, business requirements and service levels for transport, warehousing, and compliance Be the interface between Rolls-Royce functions including aftermarket Engines, Parts, Tooling, IT, Customs, Export Control functions globally and the logistics service partners Lead operational meetings, global projects and continuous improvement activities in collaboration with our service partner and other Rolls-Royce business units while managing SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost) as well as Environmental performance and apply improvement actions Manage the spend cycle from budgeting, to purchase order requisitioning and invoice approval Maintain, improve, or change third-party logistics relationships as required Support the creation and negotiation of long term logistics service contracts, contractual amendments, letters etc. Basic Requirements: Associate degree with 7 years of Supply Chain, Planning and Control and/or logistics, OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Supply Chain, Planning and Control and/or logistics, OR Master's degree with 3 years of Supply Chain, Planning and Control and/or logistics, OR JD/PhD, OR 9 years of Supply Chain, Planning and Control and/or logistics in lieu of degree Preferred Requirements: Logistical operations, supply chain and experience working with 3rd party vendors Pioneer the next generation of innovation.
