Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner
- Assist customers with product information, order placement, and order tracking
- Resolve customer complaints or issues by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer accounts and process orders
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell products or services when appropriate
- Make outbound calls to follow up with customers or provide additional information
- Provide excellent phone etiquette and ensure positive customer interactions
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages is a plus, particularly Spanish
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and empathy
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to upsell products or services
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and customer management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet
