Rondo Energy's mission is to eliminate 15% of global CO2 emissions in 15 years.
To accomplish this mission, Rondo is deploying low-cost, zero-carbon Rondo Heat Batteries to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and to significantly decarbonize industrial processes that are commonly thought of as "difficult-to-decarbonize". Our Heat Batteries charge from intermittent renewables to provide high temperature, continuous heat for customers safely, reliably, at an unprecedented 98% efficiency - and at a cost point that is lower than any other method.
We are looking for a Business Operations Associate who will play a key role in helping Rondo meet its ambitious decarbonization goals. You will own cross-functional projects, work closely with senior leadership, and focus on business-critical priorities. What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):
- Work with business unit leaders to set goals, identify obstacles, and implement tools & process for better operations
- Drive go-to-market strategy by sizing, evaluating, and prioritizing market segments
- Create presentation materials for high-impact customer, investor, and board engagement
- Help decarbonize industry with the best emerging technology for zero carbon heat
- Work at a high-growth startup backed by the world's leading cleantech investors
- Take on Rondo's most critical (and interesting) business questions
- Learn from brilliant colleagues who are as passionate about decarbonization as you are
What You Will Bring:
- 2 years in management consulting, startup operations, or equivalent experience
- A passion for climate impact
- Excitement to manage projects across business operations, organization design, governance, strategy, people, and finance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesis ambiguous information into actionable insights and recommendations; strong results orientation
- Strong analytical capabilities; fluency in Excel for financial models, market analyses, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly, compellingly, and effectively across written and presentation formats
- Bonus points for educational background in chemical, mechanical, or materials engineering

The estimated salary for this role is between $125,000 and $140,000, and would be eligible for other Rondo compensation benefits and structures.
