What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESL Instructor position at Rosemead College?
Rosemead College is looking for part-time and substitute ESL Instructors to teach student-centered communicative ESL lessons to groups of 8-15 international students at our main and branch campuses.
Under guidance from the Educational Coordinator, instructors are responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating assigned classes in accordance with Rosemead College’s established curriculum; for maintaining class records; and for participating in regular professional development meetings and/or workshops. Instructors are expected to plan/participate in school activities and field trips.
Instructor Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field plus a TESOL Certificate required
- 3 years of teaching experience required
- Fluency in Chinese or Japanese preferred
- Master's Degree in TESOL preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Experience:
- Adult education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TEFL/TESOL/ESL Certificate (Required)
