Job Description: Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist is an essential part of the team. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments with accuracy
- Conduct account reconciliations to maintain data integrity
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively
- Support collection activities and engage with customers regarding overdue balances
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely billing and payment processing
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits
- Adhere to GAAP principles and organizational accounting policies
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
Technical Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a work experience equivalent.
- Construction industry experience.
- Relevant experience or coursework in accounts receivable is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
Pay Range: $30-$45/hr DOE
- Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, PTO and 401K
