What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deparment Manager position at Ross Dress For Less?
Ross Dress for Less is looking to add to our leadership team at our Wauwatosa / Brookfield location. We are looking for a Department Manager (Area Supervisor) to oversee our Apparel Department.
As a Department Manager (Area Supervisor) you will manage the day to day merchandising, flexing, loss prevention and overall operations of that department.
You will act as the Manager-On-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and help run the entire building ensuring that customers have a great treasure hunt and that associates are well engaged.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year continuous leadership experience in either a retail or food service setting.
- Ability to follow set processes (policies) and teach others to do the same.
- Highly dependable with an impeccable attendance record.
- Mentality of coaching and wanting to help your team be the best they can be.
- Able to challenge yourself to be better tomorrow then you were today.
