Job Summary
The Return to Title IV (R2T4) Specialist works under the direction of the Director of Financial Aid. The
Specialist is responsible for the Return to Title IV calculations and many related activities. The
Specialist ensures that all policies and procedures are compliant with Ross, state and Federal
regulations, and performing related work as required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations
• Review calculations that are questioned for accuracy by Corporate FA
• Stay up to date on Title IV regulations and inform the Director of pertinent news
• Perform all of the tuition adjustment calculations for students who withdraw from Ross
• Work closely with campus staff to ensure withdrawal documentation is correct and timely
• Documenting and/or creating policies and procedures related to R2T4s
• Cross-train in Reinstatement/Re-Enter Reviews
• Cross-train in Review of Re-Admissions
• Support the exploration and implementation of state aid
• Additional work as assigned
Requirements
• 2 years work experience in post-secondary school financial aid administration where you
developed strong skills with CampusVue
• Associates Degree preferred
• Prior R2T4 experience preferred
• Must have sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs
and/or facilitate student participation.
• Must have sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone,
read materials, use white board and use classroom equipment.
• Reference and background check required for employment, including credit check
• Protection of student and/or employee privacy is expected in the handling of confidential and/or
financial information.
• Protection of the corporation and privacy of corporate proprietary and confidential information is
expected
• Professional communication encompasses written, oral, visual and digital communication.
Successful communication skills are required for working at Ross and involve the following:
writing, reading, editing, speaking, listening, software applications, data entry and reporting,
and Internet research.
