About the Role

Route is looking for Full Stack, Javascript Software Engineers on our Discover team. This team will be responsible for offering a highly configurable discover experience to our merchant partners. Merchants will be able to engage with customers in multiple ways and take full advantage of Route's vastly growing ecosystem.

An engineer on the Discover team, you will partner with highly experienced engineers and embrace world-class engineering practices to deliver software with high confidence.

Your participation:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor and improve software across the stack
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Embody a culture of innovation, transparency, and radical candor

Minimum qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• 1 years experience in web development
• Experience with one or more general-purpose languages, e.g. Javascript, PHP, Go, Java, C#
• Experience with one or more: Javascript, TypeScript and React
• Interest and ability to learn other languages as needed

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with one or more of the following: AWS, SaaS software systems, microservices, REST API design
• GoLang experience is a plus
• Interested in learning and embracing architecture decisions on systems with high security, reliability, and scalability requirements
