Rowdys is a 21 Dress To Impress Country Dancehall.
Keeping Rowdys a fun and safe environment by giving exceptional customer service, ensuring customer safety and club cleanliness. The most important part of this role is ensuring the safety of all our customers and employees by acting as mediator when a customer becomes upset.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guarding entry points and verifying visitors by checking ID’s, looking for weapons by using metal detector wand
- Patrolling stationed areas switching up throughout the night
- Keeping tables and floors cleaned while scanning for any disturbances
- Intervening in arguments between customers to de escalate any disturbances
- Breaking up fights and escorting unruly customers out of the building or holding the customer until police arrive depending on the situation
- Escort customer hands free off premises
- Reporting intoxicated customers to upper management
- Keeping constant communication through the club using radios
- Filling out minor and major incident reports
- Moving tables, chairs, and other large or heavy furniture items
- Be a visible deterrent to issues
- Identify suspicious behavior
- Opener will set up patio and turn on all the lights
- Keep an accurate count of people in and out of the building so we stay at capacity
- Make sure all customers are out of the building by 2:15am, close doors and make sure everything is locked including dumpsters
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 21 years old
- TABC and Food Handler or ability to acquire within 30 days of hire date
- Minimum of 2 years in industry services or prior military experience
- Open availability including all evenings, weekends, nights. Available to come in at noon on concert nights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to notice signs of intoxication
- Capability to restrain from using force at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
