Royal Auto Center is seeking an experienced Service Writer (Automotive).

The ideal candidate would use their expert knowledge to understand our automotive customers and their vehicle needs/problems and organize appointments, process orders, stay in communication and insure a satisfactory remittance of their vehicle.

Candidates must possess top-notch customer service skills, be a self starter, and be driven to develop and maintain customer relationships.

Service Writer duties:

  • Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely responses.
  • Educate clients about the company’s products, services and offers.
  • Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges and process payments.
  • Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
  • Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.
  • Record customer details and transactions.
  • Serve as a customer relationship manager.
  • Serve as a link between customers and different departments in the organization.
  • Create service quotes.
  • Order and receive parts, as necessary.
  • Create invoices.
  • Scheduling Service Technicians.
  • Answer phones and direct calls accordingly.
  • Remove labels and markings from existing vehicles.
  • Help keep the shop clean and organized, as needed.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Automotive Service Manager or General Manager.

Prior Experience with Auto parts is required.

Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess: Good Attendance History, a Positive Attitude, Punctual, Strong Attention to Detail, Team Player, Safety Management Minded, Ability to pick up 25LBS, Self-Starter.

Job Type: Full-time 7:30 am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday Overtime available

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
