Gym Manager

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the fitness facility, including managing staff and ensuring a positive member experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate fitness programs and events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving any issues that arise.

Requirements:

-Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
- Proven experience in fitness management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in math for handling financial transactions and analyzing sales data.
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
- Experience with inventory control procedures to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Proven track record in sales, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Familiarity with employee orientation processes and training techniques.
- Strong communication skills to interact with members, staff, and other stakeholders.
