JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Director, Employee Experience and will have the opportunity to be part of a small HR team. This role touches all aspects of HR with focus in the areas of recruitment, HRIS maintenance, payroll, benefits and performance management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Front line face for the Employee Experience department to help answer employee inquiries
  • Organizes recruitment efforts for open positions which includes maintaining job descriptions, posting positions on job boards, conducting interviews, reference checking and offer extensions
  • Provides payroll processing support and assists employees with timecard questions
  • Assists with benefits administration, including enrollment, billing, coordination of employee leave requests
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding which includes: generating offer letters, tracking pre-employment paperwork, coordinating new employee orientations and completing new hire setup within the HRIS system
  • Assists in employee off-boarding process to ensure timely and efficient departures
  • Assists with filing compliance reports; maintaining and updating
  • Updates HR Forms, Handbook and Policies and Procedures and maintains HR page on Intranet
  • Coordinates employee training meetings, Wellness events and department-led functions
  • Drafts HR Communications and assists with timely distribution of announcements
  • Tracks and maintains HR and payroll related files
  • Assists with generating and distributing reports for numerous departments
  • Performs verification of employment requests and fields all incoming


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree (Human Resources or related field preferred)
  • 1-2 years experience in Human Resources Field
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office
