Our company is partnered with Legacy Solar and a big box retail store to promote the education and sale of solar. We help customers cut their monthly utility bills and increase their home's value.
Our Retail Product Specialists are responsible for educating our customers on our products and services and inputting their contact information to get them set up with one of our sales consultants. This helps provide leads to our sales consultants.
This role is great for outgoing candidates who would love to talk with people all day. No prior knowledge is necessary, as we provide paid training. This is a great entry level position to solar, sales, and the home improvement field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company products through training- no prior knowledge necessary
- Provide excellent customer service skills and professionalism at all times
- Acquire new leads while earning commission at the same time
- Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions
- Utilize technology for scheduling and documenting all activities
- Communicate weekly with the General Manager on activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers as reflected in our systems

REQUIREMENTS
- Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not required (We provide an extensive paid training program)
- Friendly personality, must enjoy talking to others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have great time management skills and self motivation to hit goals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is necessary
- Must be able to pass pre-employment tests, including background check
- High school diploma or GED required
