Entry Level Sales Role 

Base Pay plus UNCAPPED commission 

The solar industry worldwide is expected to grow by 4x from $52B in 2018 to $223B in 2026. With incentives increasing and the cost of solar power decreasing, the solar power industry is growing rapidly. Keeping up with demand is exciting and provides immense opportunity. Solar not only benefits the environment, but drastically decreases utility bills and increases the homes value. 

Our solar company is looking for candidates excited about the world of solar. In this role you will be approaching homes to market and promote the benefits of switching to solar, setting appointments for the homeowners to learn more, and qualifying them for a solar system. We want you to grow with us, so once you show your skills and passion we'll teach you how to be a sales consultant to finalize sales, and earn you more money. 

Responsibilities:

• Approach homes and educate homeowners on the positive effects of solar energy, including: the reduction of utility bills, clean energy for the environment, and worthwhile investment to increase home value.
• Ability to capitalize on sales opportunities in residential areas, and responding to referrals 
• Qualify and set appointments for potential customers, earning you commission 
• Work with limited supervision, and hit individual sales goals 
• Provide exceptional customer service 
• Have a positive, self motivated mindset. We are looking for people to work hard and quickly move up to leadership roles
• Attend required meetings and training

Requirements

• Drivers license and reliable transportation required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be hardworking and self motivated to meet individual and team goals
• Must be comfortable approaching potential customers homes in a residential setting
• Should be extremely outgoing and friendly
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors 
• Willing and excited to learn about solar sales
