The position: This position plays a key role in creating and facilitating instructor-led training for traditional classroom training, online webinar training, and informal learning programs. This position is also responsible for providing support to employees in the general administration of the property and RPM policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Works with subject matter experts to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for learning programs
- Delivers training, including preparation, creating a positive learning environment, facilitating learning, managing challenges in the classroom, and evaluating learning
- Applies adult learning principles, develops learner-centered training methods, and designs effective audio visuals and learning aids
- Creates engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Presents training information to groups suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience
- Clearly and concisely conveys training information orally or in writing to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the information and the message
- Curates content within the Learning Experience Platform
- Maintains training schedules that are accurate and are communicated to participants in a timely manner. Coordinates training schedules with hiring and training departments
- Maintains personnel training records within the learning management system
- Is willing to travel and execute any job duties as required to assist employee learning for improved operational performance. Required Travel <25%
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years work experience in the training design and development field
- 2 years Property Management experience (Manager, Assistant, or Leasing)
Experience designing and developing live classroom and virtual classroom training using known instructional design methodology
Ability to develop project plans and timelines to effectively set obtainable goals with an emphasis on on-time delivery
Experience creating and conducting engaging webinars with Zoom or other online training tools
Working knowledge of Yardi property management software
Has strong planning, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
Is comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees
