This role plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, analytical by nature, and able to perform all tasks associated with project and program management. This role is responsible for the administrative functions associated with supporting the project management department in initiating, monitoring and reporting all project activities including proposals, schedules, spending, material acquisition and delivery, engineering, manufacturing, and to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned projects. Importantly, the successful candidate will have a positive attitude and energy, and motivation to be a key player in solidifying the foundation for RPM Tech’s continued growth.
This position works under the direction of the Director of Product Development and supports the tasks and efforts of company leadership as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of a Project Coordinator include:
· Planning and Scheduling: Oversee detailed project plans for small to medium sized projects
· Coordinate timelines and ensure all team members understand their tasks and deadlines.
· Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, team members, and management to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents.
· Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against the plan, identify any deviations, and report on project status to stakeholders and management. Compile and prepare regular status reports and performance metrics.
· Risk Management: Identify and report any potential risks and issues that could impact the project timeline or success.
· Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensure that costs are controlled, and report any financial discrepancies or concerns.
· Coordination of Meetings: Organize and facilitate project meetings, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
· Support and Facilitation: Provide administrative support to the project team, facilitate smooth workflow, and resolve any issues that may hinder project progress.
· Provide administrative and operational support to Administration and Operations departments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- AA degree in Business Administration or similar field. BA preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role.
- Functional understanding of technology, product development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation
The position is based in our Forest Hill, MD design headquarters. On-site presence is required; occasional remote-work arrangements are considered when feasible.
