Status: Temp-to-Hire
Office Location: Washington, DC
Full time: Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00
Hybrid: onsite on Monday/ Wednesday/ Thursday, remote on Tuesday/ Friday
Work for a fun and fast paced Public Affairs firm as the Event Coordinator. This role has growth potential, and you will be given a lot of autonomy. Work with a fantastic team of professionals while gaining in-depth knowledge and skills.
Duties:
Learn their systems and protocols
Support large and small conference and events
Communicate with speakers, attendees, and clients
Carefully track very detailed information, create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, update database information, create Word docs
Coordinate speaker logistics for events; serve as the go-to person for putting out fires and solving problems
Manage event registration
Attend events and assist onsite
Assist with any general administrative support
Screening:
BA/ BS degree
Recent college grad with strong internships showing meticulous attention to detail
Detail oriented
Strong tech skills (MS Office Suite)
Top communication skills
