RRD Greensboro is a full-service packaging printing facility. This location offers a broad range of printing services, including binding & finishing and on-demand printing.
In order to continue enhancing our quality processes and systems to secure our customers, RRD, and regulatory requirements, we are in immediate need of a Quality Technician. If you are reliable, hardworking, and have experience in the packaging industry, we would like to speak with you.
Pay range $18.00 - $22.00
General duties include:

- Performs inspections to assure quality standards.
- Escalate all quality issues identified in the production process to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Perform activities to process defective materials identified through inspection processes according to procedures.
- Performs outgoing quality inspections and Certificates of Compliance for required projects.
- Performs materials testing for specific projects.
- Issues Supplier Corrective Action Reports.
- Contribute to the development of instructions and procedures.
- Ensure the proper documentation is in place and followed.
- Offer suggestions to improve processes.
- Successfully completing our required training programs.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Required Skills
Requires good knowledge of general/standard administrative/manufacturing operations procedures and methods to successfully complete the duties of the job.- Must have general knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office and Google Workspace for word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs related to the print manufacturing process or administrative support.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide routine information, answer inquiries, and/or refer calls.
- Requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems related to the duties of the job.
- Preferred: familiar with applicable skills and procedures required to perform the duties listed in the job.
PHYSICAL WORKSPACE
- Extended time standing or walking throughout the day, sometimes at a computer workstation
- Noise levels are moderate to loud in production areas
- May occasionally need to move or lift materials up to 50 pounds

Required Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years of experience or more.
- Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.
- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
- High-level of visual awareness.
