We are looking for an experienced General Manager in the restaurant arena that can lead a team and achieve the financial budgets for its dedicated location.
POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager will be responsible for overall restaurant operations execution, controllable profit plan achievement, guest count growth, and the sales building activities. The General Manager will lead their staff in exceeding guest expectations, manage the day- to- day operations of the restaurant, provide support, set goals for team members; and ensure all Brand standards are followed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, Hospitality, brand standards execution, and employee training.
· Achieves controllable profit and flow thru goals by overseeing all controllable cost and taking the appropriate corrective action to achieve the desire results.
· Develops Restaurant Managers and hourly employees through Denny’s training programs, individual development plans, and assignments.
· Ensures all equipment and facilities are in compliance with RREMC standards and takes corrective action when required.
· Attracts, hires, and retains the best hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and customer service standards and expectations.
· Shares responsibility with District Manager (DM) on attracting, hiring & developing Restaurant Managers to make a cohesive management team.
· All other task and duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
· 3 years' experience in restaurant management, additional operations and / or leadership experience required.
· Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the RREMC organization.
. Strong Computer skills and Management of POS systems
· ServSafe and/or Food Safety Manager Certification preferred
· Solid financial and business acumen required for this position
· Valid Driver's License required
