About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Payroll and HR Administrative Specialist to join our team. This role will primarily focus on assisting with multi-state payroll processing and providing administrative support for various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency with UKG payroll software, and a thorough understanding of payroll regulations and compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting the administration of employee benefits programs.

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri | Day Schedule | Remote

COMPENSATION: $20 - $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with multi-state payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payroll for employees. Maintain and update attendance and timecard records in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide support in the administration of employee benefits programs, including managing enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Manage the UKG payroll system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist with managing employee Leave of Absence (LOA) cases, including documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and up-to-date, complying with applicable regulations and company policies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing.
  • Proficiency with UKG payroll software, with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
