We are seeking a Marketing Specialist II for our Transportation-Construction Management practice for our Eastern Region.
The Marketing Specialist should be passionate about pursuit success, which drives the sales of the company by strengthening new and existing client relationships. The candidate should be highly creative and enjoy working in a dynamic, collaborative work environment. The position will be responsible for promoting the Company’s brand through compelling visuals and content, storytelling, and proposal theming and messaging. This role includes significant customer focus that supports Construction Management marketing, business development, and sales initiatives. Internal coordination with our technical and corporate marketing and communications teams will be common and will require excellent organizational skills to execute all assignments.
The position can be fully remote (work-from-home), in a CM office location within the Eastern time zone, or as a hybrid of both options.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Conducting basic market research within the A/E/C industry, to include competitor materials and client trends
- Collecting and preparing general information for staff resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate information for client submittals
- Coordinating DOT and local government pursuits with marketing team members, business development staff, project managers, and external partners
- Providing support to project managers, client management teams, and senior marketing team members by collaborating and contributing to marketing tasks
- Providing printing, binding, and production-related support for proposal materials
- Supporting our defined QA/QC procedures for all marketing materials developed, including proofreading and editing materials for readability and compliance
- Contributing intelligence related to clients and competitors to support opportunities/pursuits
- Evaluating technical content to make sure it satisfies all RFP requirements and company brand standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Communications, Business Administration or related field
- 5 years of relevant marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
- Must live within the Eastern Time Zone of the United States
- Experience coordinating DOT professional services proposals (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina)
- Knowledge and experience with SF 330s are preferred
- Proficiency in basic marketing, communication, and graphics design processes
- Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills a must
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter that can work both independently, as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, love challenges, and have a can-do attitude
- An expert at prioritizing multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities and direction in a progressive work environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to drive proposal schedules
- Demonstrate a high-level of creativity using graphics (such as photos, graphs, charts, etc.) to improve communication in written documents
- Adobe InDesign CS4 (or higher) preferred
- Adobe Acrobat, PhotoShop and Illustrator preferred
- Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Deltek Vision (or experience with other relational database programs) experience is a plus
