As a Manager, Human Resources you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Director, Human in all aspects of Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. You will be expected to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment. As a Manager, Human Resources you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Director, Human in all aspects of Human Resources. What you’ll do:
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which will include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Provide support and guidance when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, grievances, and terminations.
- Process semi-monthly payroll including implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs including health plans, retirement, LOA, workers’ compensation, • Identify HR metrics appropriate to a high performing organization and develop benchmark reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain employee records and records retention.
- 4-7 years full cycle HR Generalist experience plus 3 years management experience
- PHR or SPHR certification a plus
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now GL Module interfaces
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
