Job Profile Name: Graphic/Web Designer
Job Profile Summary: Works as part of a creative team to concept, design, develop, and execute multimedia marketing and image campaigns (print, environmental, web) to extend and effectively communicate the organization’s brand.
Job Description Duties & Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
- Conceptualizes, designs, and executes print & multimedia advertising and collateral campaigns for effective promotion of corporate image and programmatic marketing initiatives.
- Conceptualizes, designs, and lays out web pages and electronic-based marketing communications and translates print messaging concepts to the web.
- Identifies, defines and executes designs in appropriate format and media to best deliver message and reach specific audience.
- Prepares final art files, performs pre-press, traffics all final art, conducts press checks, and serves as primary vendor interface related to print projects.
- Creates web-based wireframe architectures and utilize current UX/UI best practices.
- Directs photographers, photo shoots, and other specialized vendors, and meets with clients and the marketing team to understand and make recommendations on project parameters, goals, and tactics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Multimedia Arts, and/or Web Design preferred.
- A minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience as a graphic designer in an advertising agency or corporate marketing environment
- A minimum of three years of experience with industry-standard graphics applications including the Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Proficiency in standards compliant web design tools, which may include HTML, CSS, and current UX/UI best practices and fundamentals
- Proficiency with pre-press, file configuration, and graphic vendor supervision
- Ability to effectively translate print and environmental design concepts to the web
- Proficiency with design on a Macintosh platform with extensive knowledge of PC environments for cross-platform testing and compatibility
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to use sound judgment.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The work environment is a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
