If you're a strong sales leader with the vision to create a strategic sales plan, combined with the high-energy and tactical ability to coach and motivate individual sales engineers, the Vice President of Sales role could be your ideal opportunity. You'll leverage your leadership and sales experience in the Industrial Automation industries to build a best-in-class sales organization in North America consisting of both direct and indirect sales channels.
In order to build a best-in-class sales organization, a best-in-class product offering is required. At present the RTP3000 N is recognized as a best-in-class safety system outside of the US. It has more functionality and higher performance than competitive products and when considering cost of ownership, it is the most economical system available. It is also well suited for high-end PLC applications requiring functionality beyond relay ladder logic, like rotating machinery control and BMS applications where fast scan rates are required. It is also well suited for DCS applications, that require a large number of PID loops and very accurate Analog I/O. By the end of this year a new product, Dragon, will enter the product lineup. It will use the same software, NetArrays. It is positioned to have a price per I/O point of $16 with an Analog content of 40%. To be a strong fit for the Vice President of Sales opportunity, you will have:
· Experience selling Control or Safety systems (DCS, PLC, SIS), in the Chemical, Oil, Gas or Power industries.
· Self-Driven to succeed, passionate about control systems technology
· Strong technical capacity, comfort leveraging and promoting technology-based products
· Establish and enhance corporate-level relationships with current and future customers
· 7-10 years of experience effectively leading a high performing sales team
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering or technology field
· Strong executive and leadership presence
· Strong technical and financial skills supporting the ability to review contracts and generate proposals
· Entrepreneurship experience having worked in a small company or venture-backed start-up
· Ability to make complicated technical concepts easy to understand for a general audience
This position will be located in the Gulf Coast area.
