Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Position: Production Worker Wage: $19.10 hr. Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. *overtime may be required Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee. What you will be doing: Gather, bundle and stack fiberboard partitions. Will stack bundles correctly on pallets to meet customer orders and specifications. Must watch for quality of partitions being manufactured Operate die cart during set-up Assists Machine Operator during paper jams Ability to operate Hydraulic Lift Cart, Bundler Machine and Box Taping Machine Perform other functions and duties as assigned or necessary both indoors and outdoors Keep are clean and orderly to remain a safe area We’d love to hear from you if: Can count accurately, able to learn quickly and adapt to change and work well in a team environment. Must be quality minded, able to work independently and keeps safety as a priority. Able to work on your feet and stand for extended periods of time. Walking, standing, bending, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces is required. Can use upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward and to exert force to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion and can raise objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. Lifting up to 50 lbs. required. Must demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures. Able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to maintain good attendance and be reliable and dependable.
