We are looking for a bilingual and fully committed facilitator/trainer to lead conversations and group trainings on general construction knowledge (framing, painting, tile laying, plumbing, electrical, drywall, finish work). The facilitator should prepare pertinent, meaningful training material, and subsequently steer discussions /trainings thereof including video and power point functionality.
Responsibilities
· Serve as trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the training of current and prospective team members.
· Provides direct feedback and coaching team members in the field.
· Maintains a focused facilitation of construction plan and ensures consistent and effective implementation of that plan.
· Providing guidance, coaching, and training necessary for crew members
· Provides comprehensive, accurate and complete coaching for team members to develop and maintain the necessary effectiveness in the areas of training delivery, engagement, and knowledge transfer.
· Be intentional about the desired outcome and purpose of the training.
· Encouraging respect for ideas voiced during facilitation/training and extracting varied insights from participants.
· Maintain a clean and safe work site.
· Competence in reading plans and construction documents
· Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, plus overtime and weekend availability.
· Reviewing and recommending improvements in construction practices to increase productivity and quality, incorporating constant improvements in training program.
Requirements
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and written, with a wide range of people in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 6 years of experience of construction knowledge and experience training one or multiple crews, or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of all typical construction, including all company vehicles with trailers.
· Valid Identification (valid Driver’s License)
· Be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
· Must be able to endure long periods of standing and walking.
· Follow the culture policies and guidelines as set forth by the company.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $ 28.00 per hour and up based off experience and performance
Schedule:

- Overtime 5 hours to 15 hours weekly
