Home Delivery Driver

The Home Delivery Driver will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of Rug Doctor machines and products to and from designated delivery locations including customer homes. The position will also be responsible for cleaning machines, equipment and display in established retail locations when there are no home deliveries to be made. Multiple shifts available working 8am until 4pm, 5 days per week with mileage reimbursement.

Essential Functions:

· Make accurate delivery and pickups in an expedited manner to specific delivery and pickup locations including renter’s homes and storage locations.

· Use hand held device for order information, customer delivery/pickup information.

· Serve customers by understanding and following instructions, displaying a professional, energetic and courteous attitude.

·Clean and test rented machines after each delivery.

· Navigate a variety of routes through delivery area.

· Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

· Maintain communication with management team as required.

· While operating your vehicle, ensure safe performance, proper maintenance, and clean appearance.

· Installing displays in new customer accounts, removing or resetting existing fixtures.

· Assist with maintaining the inventory and general organization of satellite warehouse facilities.

· Traveling to existing customer accounts (primarily supermarket & home improvement/ hardware stores when there are no deliveries to be made) to provide extra maintenance and cleaning.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Possession of a valid driver’s license.

· Use of your personal vehicle to make deliveries with reimbursement for gas

·Weekends required (day shift)

· Driver must have a good driving record, licensed for at least 2 years, insurance and a reliable vehicle.

· Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.

· Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
