Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, Repair Technician. We are seeking a responsible self-starter to service and maintain our equipment, while providing superior customer service to our established field locations, located at our Fenton, MO facility. Starting pay is $21.00/hr, with opportunities to earn up to $24.00/hr, with productivity incentives
We are looking for candidates like you that like to work independently, have a successful record of accomplishment, and can self-manage their productivity daily in a fast-paced environment in the servicing of equipment. Essential Functions (not all inclusive):
- Dynamic, with an outgoing personality and a desire to learn
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems
- Repair carpet cleaning machines as required
- Clean and prepare equipment for shipping to Districts
- Organize and maintain the warehouse as requested (5% of workday)
Requirements:
- General mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Prior experience with repairing equipment, a plus
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Must be physically able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and maneuver (lift, push pull) 40-75 lbs (pallet, cleaning equipment and products)
