The Compliance Administrator performs a variety of complex and specialized office support functions. This position requires a very high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task throughout the day. The function of this role is to ensure accuracy and overall compliance.
Responsibilities of Position:
- Accurately manage the driver qualification process from start to finish.
- Accurately maintain electronic driver files in compliance with regulations.
- Process potential new hires by requesting background checks and motor vehicle reports, and notify hiring managers on eligibility status.
- Research and review motor vehicle reports, background checks, drug & alcohol testing information, court documents, work releases, etc.
- Review and ensure compliance with driver medical examination certificates, driver licenses, training paperwork, and employment verifications.
- Update and track various time-sensitive dates in the driver compliance software.
- Communicate with company personnel via various methods to effectively manage driver compliance and the pre-employment screening process.
- Communicate with third-party vendors to validate the information and obtain results in a timely manner.
- Administer drug tests on an as-needed basis (training provided).
- Perform regular audits.
- Perform job duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and telephone etiquette.
- Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task & prioritize to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Must work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as a team.
- Must display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
- Effective verbal & written communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all information obtained within scope of employment.
- Ability to identify issues, make decisions, and resolve problems.
Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:
- Ability to travel between offices, as required.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language.
