The Corporate Warranty Manager manages the assigned team of warranty administrators and oversees all phases of warranty claim (or payment) processing for assigned vendors. Assists with the reconciliation, process improvement and Corporate support of warranty claims to prevent Company losses.

Responsibilities:
- Assist warranty admin in all facets of their job and ensure assigned admin are performing essential duties as described in the warranty admin job description.
- Ensure all warranty payments (EDI invoices, credit memos, checks, certificates, invoices, statements, etc) are processed accurately and timely.
- Review admin's coding for accuracy.
- Support payment backlogs to ensure payments are processed promptly, consistent with established guidelines and goals.
- Responsible for all write-offs.
- Maintain the clearing account consistent with established guidelines and goals.
- Generate reports as required.
- Responsible for performance of assigned warranty team.
- Assist in creation and maintenance of Central Warranty policies and procedures and supplier guides.
- Must have a working knowledge of SAP with the ability to quickly learn other dealer business systems as necessary.
- Resolve employee issues fairly and consistently ensuring proper communication and documentation is completed.
- Direct communication with dealers, suppliers, warranty admin team and Rush Accounting Department to locate past due receivables.
- Escalate communication with dealer management and department manager if lack of dealer cooperation.
- Provide support to the locations regarding questions and training.
- Ensure claim information in Warranty Claim Center (WCC) is current and accurate.
- Review requests for information from external parties (dealer, supplier) and respond in a professional and timely manner to resolve the issue.
- Respond to phone calls and emails promptly.
- Strive to maintain department goals of aging and write off percentages.
- Complete Rush University assigned training courses by assigned due dates.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities Required
- Must have strong navigational skills for in depth researching purposes.
- Must have strong Excel skills – intermediate level.
- General knowledge of accounting.
- SAP business system experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with internet-based computer programs and have basic general accounting knowledge.
- Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Strong time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities.
