What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Director position at Russ's Market?
We are seeking an experienced & driven Store Director at our Russ’s Market in Glenwood.
Specific Requirements:
- Drive sales and profits through proper merchandizing and associate management
- Plan, organize, and direct daily store operations and activities
- Customer and associate relations, including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of all equipment and machinery
- Budget planning, sales forecasting and gross computations
- Direct store safety program, including timely filing of Worker’s Compensation forms
- Monitor and evaluate associates on a regular basis
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Interview and hire associates
- Provide orientation to new associates and complete necessary paperwork
- Coordination of benefits for store associates
- Record keeping, including completion of and sending in paperwork
Qualifications:
7 years of retail management experience, with the ability to manage total store operations. This is a full-time, salaried position.
