The Account Manager fosters relationships with customers. This position aims to ensure satisfaction and loyalty to Russell Landscape by listening to the customer’s needs and suggesting enhancements and is the direct line of communication between the customer and Russell Landscape.
Responsibilities:
· Produce and maintain a schedule to perform monthly walkthroughs during formal meetings with customers to ensure quality and service expectations are met
· Produce and maintain a maintenance schedule for the crew to perform scheduled maintenance visits
· Irrigation Water Management. Perform irrigation clock inspections. Set and manage irrigation clock
· Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns
· Proactively present site enhancement ideas to existing customers
· Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers
· Supervise the crews and conduct of field operations
· Communicate regularly with the Crew Leaders to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
· Manage service delivery to specified scope of work
· Ensure branch financial goals met by maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary services
· Coordinate consistent and timely site audits
· Participate in branch meetings and assist Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager in overall leadership of branch
· Other tasks and duties as assigned by Branch Manager
· Ability to hire, terminate, coach, and develop employees

Position Overview:
The Account Manager operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to customer accounts and builds and maintains strong, long-lasting relationships. This position works with their Production Manager to identify new enhancement opportunities among existing customers. The successful Account Manager initiates sales by building relationships, communicating effectively, and understanding customers’ needs.
Accountabilities:
· Ensure timely communication of contract details with customers (dates of service and budget increases)
· Retain accounts through contract renewals by ensuring client satisfaction
· Achieve budget targets
What is expected of you and others at this level:
· Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed.
· Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
· Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services.
· Ensure customers receive requested service in a timely fashion
· Verify quality of service and customer satisfaction
· Manage expectations of customers
