Job Summary
Responsible for executing warehouse inventory counts, processing and resolving discrepancies to resolution. Works cross-functionally within departments to complete related inventory control responsibilities.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Works proactively with department teams to track, plan, coordinate and execute warehouse inventory counts within assigned deadlines.
- Follow count processes and procedures.
- Investigates discrepencies to resolution and reflects the final resolution in inventory system.
- Randomly assesses daily orders prior to shipment to ensure procedures are followed and orders are correct.
- Monitors and orders warehouse supplies to ensure correct inventory levels to support the team/business.
- Supports the receiving and return processes as needed.
- Ensures warehouse is organized and tidy. Follows established safety, and lock-out standards.
- Maintains all policies and procedures.
- Conducts scheduled safety walks and works with leadership to resolve identified concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
Qualifications
- Must successfully complete on-th-job training.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Basic math skills required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Previous experience using inventory scanners is a plus.
- At least 18 years of age.
Environmental Job Conditions
- Most of the time is spent moving about on hard surfaces. Frequently requires bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 50 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
