Health Careers Instructor AssistantResponsibilitiesStafford Technical Center offers fourteen full-day technical education programs, each of which offers college credits or industry certifications to students as part of their high school education. Students are prepared for higher education and/or entry into business and industry. Stafford Technical Center has an opening for a Health Careers Instructor Assistant for a 15-week period during the Spring 2022 Semester. Candidates must be licensed by the State of Vermont as a Registered Nurse to be considered for this part-time position.Timeline: An average of 15 hours each week over the term of the contract which will last no more than 15 weeks beginning in February of 2022.Responsibilities: 1.Provide support and feedback to the Health Careers Instructor including: First years Lab skills abilities, how students are doing in clinical, any concerns you may have regarding a students abilities and behavior.
2.Supports supervision of first-year students in the STC lab and at clinical sites. This includes filling out and submitting the Clinical Evaluation Flow Sheet and any other required paperwork that is provided at the time students engage in this portion of the program.3.In the final week of the rotation, ensure that students write thank you notes to their current clinical site and that they update their resumes. 4.Serve as public relations for STC at each clinical site.5.Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as defined by the CDC.6.Other as determined by the Director of STC, and the Health Careers Instructor.Only completed, on-line applications at www.schoolspring.com will be accepted.
