POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be accountable for a group of Business Development Managers (BDMs) who make product presentations to achieve product awareness, educate the market and generate product sales. The RSM will be responsible for meeting the sales goals and objectives assigned to the Region and for the development of Region personnel. The RSM will develop, implement and monitor strategic plans for the Region in order to deliver results. The successful candidate will also motivate and manage a team of sales representatives through strong leadership skills, professional development and coaching.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet sales goals and objectives as assigned for the District
  • Deliver consistent, compliant sales results in assigned District by motivating, inspiring, leading and directing the activities of an assigned sales team of Business Development Managers
  • Coach and develop individual team members through field rides and conference calls, so that each team member can effectively inform and influence healthcare professionals, office staff members and other stakeholders to support the use of the company’s products
  • Train staff to ensure that the sales force educates and promotes to accounts effectively and to maximize business outcomes
  • Evaluate the activities and effectiveness of sales representatives on a consistent basis
  • Develop, implement and maintain Region business plan to meet Region and Company goals
  • Review and monitor analytics information to ensure full utilization of data for maximum impact on providers and overall achievement of Region and Company goals
  • Ensure the execution of the Company’s strategic objectives for the assigned market segment, which may include group medical practices, individual offices and practices, clinics and other healthcare institutions
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • Recruit and select qualified candidates to fill open sales positions in the Region
  • Coordinate administrative demands and field day objectives
  • Overnight travel will be required in this role (estimated at 40%)

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5 years of professional sales, business development, and/or account management experience required; previous aesthetic and/or healthcare sales experience strongly preferred
  • 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager with responsibility for managing sales results within a specific region and supervising a team of sales representatives
  • Working relationships with Med Spas, Plastic Surgeons, Cosmetic Dermatologists, and Facial Plastic Surgeons strongly preferred
  • Marketing, Sales Operations, Training and Development experience preferred
  • Ability to produce documented sales results and examples of company awards preferred
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and organizational skills
  • A valid driver’s license in one of the 50 United States and an ability to travel, including overnights and/or weekends, to support business needs is required
  • Ability to recruit, retain and develop highest quality staff
  • Strong client management and interpersonal skills
  • Must currently reside within the stated geography or be willing to relocate to it
  • Ability to travel overnight is required
