Job Title: Design Sales Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Design Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. As a member of our outside sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with potential clients to drive sales and contribute to the growth of our business. The client base for this role would be builders, designers, architects, remodelers, and homeowners. A successful salesperson will be able to meet face-to-face with clients, navigate a successful meeting, and secure the sale.
During a typical day, you might attend an HBA council meeting, acquire floor plans and submit them for a takeoff measurement, deliver samples and answer questions for a client, or find yourself in an unplanned meeting. To do this job well, you should be precise and thorough in your written and verbal communication. You should be responsible and able to
pursue new business without being actively managed. And because you will be in the field most of your days, effective communication and organization are vital to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, follow-up emails and text messages, social media contacts, networking events, and referrals.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Income Overview: This a salary commission position, with base salary starting at $50,000 annually. Along with the base salary, you will earn a sales commission of 6% of the gross profit from each sale that you make. There is no cap on commission pay. Company phone, iPad, vehicle, and expense account are provided.
- Benefits: 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match, 10 days of PTO starting at 31 days of employment. HSA Match of up to $200 a month, health insurance premiums paid for employess. Dental and vision coverage offered at employee expense.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field and come together as part of a collaborative team as needed.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
