What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Patient Support Associate position at RWJBarnabas Health?
The OR Patient Service Associate is responsible for multiple functions including cleaning and maintaining all OR rooms, sub-sterile areas, and other areas within the department. The OR Patient Service Associate is also responsible for the inventory of supplies, and transporting patients to and from the department.
Will be crossed trained to perform assigned job duties in the main Operating Room and Ambulatory Surgery Center. Scheduling and assignment will be determined by perioperative staffing needs at the discretion of perioperative leadership.
High School diploma or equivalent; Trade/Vocational training preferred.
Knowledge of inventory control techniques
Hospital housekeeping experience preferred
Successful completion of all orientation programs
