Summary of Job Function:
The Administrative Supervisor represents hospital Administration and as such serves as the delegated agent of the hospital administrative team and is invested with the authority of the same on the assigned shift. Responsible to coordinate and evaluate management and clinical practice activities throughout the medical center. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors. . Is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Assures safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence based practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
Job Qualifications: BA/BSN Degree. Current New Jersey Licensure. BLS and ACLS required.
Hospital RN experience required and supervisory experience preferrred
