What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at RxLive?
Duties include:
- Create financial reports
- Develop plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization
- Develop cash-flow statements
- Projecting profit / improve profitability
- Financial forecasting
- Budgeting
- Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
- Manage Invoicing customers and AP and AR
- Manage state regulatory filings and other business administration
- Manage contacts and contractual financial analysis
- Review and processes payments of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, reporting, budgeting, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Creation and execution of policies & procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Oversee planning and forecasting activities and provide analysis and financial reports to the executive team, along with recommending plans of action to achieve company goals and scaling of the business and facilitate expansion..
- Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the proposed business plans.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting and financial statements
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior executive team
- Work with auditors and leadership to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Participates and program manages aspects of RxLive compliance programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- CPA or CFA highly preferred (or currently pursuing such licenses)
- MBA is a plus
- 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Working with a start-up organization is a plus
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst, CFO or Senior Accountant
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software such as quickbooks?
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation, regulations and compliance matters
