About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated Public Relations Director to join our team.
This role is 100% on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives and target audience.
- Lead the media planning and buying process across various channels, including but not limited to TV, radio, print, digital, and social media.
- Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify opportunities for reaching and engaging target demographics effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, account management) to ensure media plans are integrated seamlessly into overall communication strategies.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with media vendors to secure favorable rates and placements for clients.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continually seeking opportunities to innovate and improve media strategies.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the media department.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and recommendations to optimize their media investments.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for media-related inquiries and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in media planning, buying, and strategy, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital media landscape, including emerging trends and technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to optimize media campaigns.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying tools/software (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, Google Analytics).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for staying ahead in the ever-evolving media industry.
- Experience with client-facing roles, providing strategic media recommendations and fostering strong client relationships.
