The Warehouse Manager supervises the Jesup Plant Warehouse operations, ensuring seamless performance aligned with safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. This role encompasses leadership in warehouse logistics. Scope includes the safe and efficient storage and loading of finished products to ensure damage-free arrival at customers’ plants and responsibility for the accurate tracking and reporting of product disposition.

How You’ll shape the Future of the Warehouse Group:
- Leadership in Warehouse Operations: Lead and administer the warehouse safety and logistics program, focusing on injury prevention, hazard elimination, and incident resolution, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
- Supply Chain Integration: Play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing an efficient and timely product delivery process using SAP S/4HANA and Solstice platforms to oversee transactions, monitor inventory, and track shipping.
- Strategic Logistics Planning: Develop, manage, and execute effective loading and shipping plans in coordination with finishing and planning departments, ensuring alignment with production schedules and seamless logistics flow.
- Optimization of Warehouse Operations: Assign storage space to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and improve worker effectiveness, ensuring the accurate placement of goods and minimizing quality concerns.
- Team Leadership and Employee Development: Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and ensuring accountability. Leverage strong leadership skills to foster a culture of high performance and safety awareness.
- SAP Expertise in Shipping & Inventory Control: Utilize SAP S/4HANA to manage warehouse inventory control, ensuring accurate data input for warehouse transactions and tracking shipments.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the timely coordination of shipping vehicles (railcars, trucks, containers) with production schedules, ensuring uninterrupted flow and compliance with all load plans and shipping regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, but equivalent extensive experience will be considered.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in pulp finishing and/or warehouse and logistics management, with a solid track record in supply chain management.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Office for managing warehouse and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams in warehouse and logistics environments.
- In-depth understanding of shipping modes, warehouse operations, and material handling equipment.
