THE POSITION OBJECTIVE
he Branch Manager is responsible for the profitability and efficient operation of the local Rycor Branch. Builds partnerships with sales team to attract new customers while retaining existing accounts. The successful candidate will collaborate with Executive Management in setting the strategy for short- and long-range business opportunities, fully understanding local government permitting requirements and timelines as well as hiring and training new staff. Additionally, the successful candidate will coordinate, monitor, and report on all activities while working collaboratively with other staff, governmental entities, and vendors to successfully launch new RYCOR locations.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the Rycor Branch.
- Responsible for the safe operation of the Rycor Branch. Ensures all equipment is in safe, efficient operating order, is properly maintained and that all employees are properly trained to operate the equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
- Control costs of material, direct/indirect labor, and equipment in accordance with the budget. Assure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain high quality standards for all installations with a continuous focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Prepares production and personnel schedules and records and supervises all Rycor Branch production and related support services for the service and installation of mini split heat pumps.
- Direct and supervise the Branch employees. Coach to improve performance. Hold employees accountable for meeting goals established by the Customer Service Center. Recruit, select, train and develop qualified staff. Maintain high level of bench strength (promotable employees.)
- Provides overall governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyzes project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
- Analyze reports and initiate proper corrective actions for unacceptable trends.
- Responsible for selecting and recruiting appropriate candidates.
- Directly resolve or elicit expertise of company staff personnel in resolution of all matters pertaining to the profitable, safe and efficient operation of the Rycor Branch Operations.
- Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect Rycor Branch operations. Comply with Federal Regulations and Company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the Market Centers.
- Support an environment of continuous improvement by making suggestions and implementing where possible.
- Maintain effective relationship with all internal and external customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent experience is required.
- Master's degree in business administration or operations management is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of progressive career growth in branch or operations management.
- Demonstrated positive results in productive labor standards and work measurements.
- Demonstrated successful interfacing with a variety of organizational functions to get the job done.
- Considerable knowledge of financial information relating to profit and loss sales and capital expenses.
- Strong customer service skills and skills in maintaining productive working relationship with other departments.
- Considerable skills in mechanical operations/processes. Strong analytical, problem solving and process management skills.
- Excellent computer skills; specifically, MS Project, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Production planning, maintenance or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong written and oral presentation skills.
